As I administer end-of-course exams, I am forced to roam around constantly monitoring and assisting with technology in complete silence. I am not sure how this silence affects my students, however, I am guessing that it doesn't seem to bother them as their silence is filled with sound of end-of-course test questions in their heads. I am expectant of the assessment scores as I know my students well. However, there is ALWAYS one student that scores extremely well while his/her semester grades did not indicate this result. Because of this pattern every semester, I am forced to ask myself...did I challenge this individual? Or did I bore him/her to the point of apathy? This is something I will test and revisit. Stay tuned...
